AYUDHA POOJA a means becoming reverent to one's own body and mind. When you become reverent towards something, you naturally distance yourself from it.

When you become reverent towards your own body and mind, you will create a clear separation between what is you and what is your body, as well as what is you and what is your mind. The end of suffering occurs when there is a clear distinction between you and your body and mind.


Any suffering you have experienced has entered you through the body or the mind. Can suffering touch you if it is a living experience for you that you are not the body or the mind? It gives you a distance if there is one.
